Who is Little Black Book?
Sydney based fashion blog Little Black Book was established in June 2008 and since then has flourished within the blogging community. Emily Fang, the girl behind the blog who is a freelance stylist as well as a full time blogger, a graduate of the University of Sydney and works in public relations – Little Black Book perfectly embodies Emily’s passions for fashion, music and the arts.
Described as “a pastiche of runway fashion, visual arts, personal style and inspiration with a look into Emily’s career as a fashion stylist”, Little Black Book has turned into one of the go to blogs as well as directories for Australian fashion.
Emi Unicorn has spoken on a number of panels including being part of the Online Influencers Panel run by Networx Sydney in March 2011. More recently she was asked to be one of the three panelists at the Blogger Relations Forum in December 2011 run by Switched on Media.
Little Black Book has attended the prestigious media only Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (formerly known as Rosemount Australian Fashion Week) since the blog’s inception in 2008, making 2014 its 6th year in attendance. More recently Little Black Book was sponsored to attend New Zealand Fashion Week 2011, 2012, 2013 as well as New York Fashion Week September 2011.
Little Black Book has truly cemented itself in the Australian blogging community having been nominated for numerous awards – taking out the ‘Best Fashion Blog’ category in the annual 2threads.com Fashion Awards in 2010.
Emily has worked with Mastercard, Mimco, created the 'Insta-walk' for 8Hotel's 1888 Hotel, the world's first Instagram hotel and most recently with David Jones on a denim campaign.
Emily Unicorn is Emily's alter ego - a lilac maned unicorn in love with all things glittery, pastel and magical. She loves spikes, pearls, sparkles and embellishments. The unicorn in the header is a personification of Emily Unicorn.
